The Marconi Conference Center, overlooking Tomales Bay, offers something special to everyone. Our modern conference facilities are an ideal setting for concentration and renewal without any sense of isolation or lack of comfort.
Our 62 acres of lush hillsides include many beautiful natural settings. Gentle walking paths and footbridges connect the different parts of the property, providing an opportunity for bird watching, walking, or jogging.
Marconi’s large, level Activity Field features a sand volleyball court, basketball half-court, horseshoe pits and plenty of open, grassy space for other active games. Paved roads serve the Activity Field and lodging/ meeting/dining buildings to make access possible for our guests of all abilities.
We are close to Point Reyes National Seashore and California State Parks, with opportunities for bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.
Guests will discover the significance of this State Historic Park as they make their way around the property. In addition to the five historic buildings, visitors can see the remnants of the concrete tennis court, the anchors and concrete footings for one of the 270-foot-high aerials, and portions of the original County Route 56. Our check-in office and lounge feature photos from the Marconi era, as well as a collection of historic radios and Marconi memorabilia. Our dining room displays historic storyboards donated by the Smithsonian Institute.
